Alaskan Malamute is a large, wolf-like dog originating from western Alaska. The breed is quite similar to Siberian Husky in appearance. These beautiful as well as massive sled dogs are capable of puling heavy weight even in extreme weather conditions. Although, nowadays, these athletic dogs are being used as wonderful family dogs.
