Bergamasco is a medium-sized, brave and intelligent dog. This ancient and relatively rare breed is native to Italy. The dog was originally used for the purpose of herding sheep and cows. Bergamasco dogs are characterized by a unique hair coat having three types of hair that form mats or flocks.
