Blue Lacy is an active and intelligent medium-sized working dog that was originally developed as a herding dog. The breed is the official State Dog Breed of Texas. This is the only working dog breed that originated in Texas. Certain other names for this dog are Texas Blue Lacy, Lacy Dog, Blue Lacy Game Dog, Lacy Hog Dog etc.
