Introduction
Bolognese dogs are small but sturdy dogs that originated in the Bolonga region of Italy during the 11th century. Though initially used for killing rodents, these cute and adorable dogs gradually gained popularity as companion dogs. During the Renaissance period, they were exchanged as gifts among nobles of Belgian Royalty.
