Chinese Imperial Dog is a sweet and adorable looking dog that serves as a delightful companion. As the name suggests, this toy breed originated in China. It was first bred in the Imperial Palace during 700 A.D.
The nobles used to flaunt these cute little dogs while keeping them secure in the sleeves of their long, flowy robes. Moreover, these dogs loved to cuddle in the Emperors’ bed, comfortably curled up near their feet and providing warmth. Besides, Buddhist monks believed that these dogs were sacred.
