Introduction
Chow Chow is a non sporting dog breed believed to have originated in China. This ancient breed was originally used for hunting and guarding purposes.
In earlier times, vicious Mongolian tribes kept these dogs as working dogs and even traded and slaughtered them for meat and fur. These unique dogs are characterized by a typical lion-like appearance.
