Introduction
English Springer Spaniel dogs are medium sized and even tempered dogs. There are two types of English Springer Spaniel dogs, the ones used for field lines and the ones used for show lines.
As the name suggests, field lines are used for field trial work and hunting whereas the heavier show types or bench types are used for conformation shows.
