Introduction
Kooikerhondje is a small sized working dog with a clearly clever personality. The breed originated in Netherlands during the 1500s and became one of the most popular breed of dogs in the world during the 17th and 18th century. However, as other working dogs started gaining popularity, the popularity of Kooikerhondje dogs started decreasing around early 19th century.
